EDUCATION: Mr. Lawson graduated in 1990 from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a B.A. Degree in Foreign Service and a minor in Japanese. He then graduated in 1995 from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi with a J.D. law degree, where he was President of Phi Delta Phi international legal society. He also studied civil law at the University of Florence in Italy, and gained a Bolivian civil law degree in 2000 at the Universidad Gabriel Rene Moreno in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS: Member of The Florida Bar, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Santa Cruz Colegio de Abogados, the American Bar Association, the Florida Adoption Council and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. Admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Federal District Court- Western District of Tennessee, the U.S. District Court- Middle District of Florida and the state courts of Florida and Tennessee.
